SOLIDARITY BUS RIDE TO BARWON PRISON
The maximum security Barwon prison currently houses the ten Melbourne men arrested under the new anti-terrorist laws in November last year. They have not gone to trial and have been found guilty of nothing - but the legislative presumption against bail means that they've spent the last six months in Guantanamo Bay-style conditions, shackled and in solitary confinement for much of the day.

Join us for a solidarity trip to Barwon to stand up for their rights and to reject the climate of intimidation and fear sweeping away our most basic democratic rights.

Speakers, entertainment, a halal BBQ and a chance to pass on messages of support to those inside.

11 am Sunday April 30 [note: new date!]
Buses leave from Trades Hall, cnr Lygon and Victoria Sts; return by 5pm.
$10/$15

Organised by Civil Rights Defence. For more info, or to book a seat ph 0401 408 185 or www.civilrightsdefence.org
