Alison Bicknell (SKWF co-director) started her
working life as an internal auditor and moved quickly up (or down)
the food chain to writing. She has worked variously in publishing,
teaching and film. Four years ago she set up her own production
company, Dashboard Animals, which survives on a mix of corporate
and creative projects, as well as the occasional foray into theatre.
She has lived and worked in St Kilda for 18 years, three of which
were spent running the now-notorious underground cabaret Kunst.
She has degrees in French, English Literature, Creative Writing
and Small Business Management and lives with a gas heater.

Bo
Svoronos (SKWF co-director) has endured a life of ease
and pleasure. His main focus has been to avoid lifting heavy objects
or commit to any serious commitment that may see him committed.
One of Bo’s main attributes is to hinder progress at any convenient
time, particularly when he is not around or a square. If there are
two words to describe Bo they would inevitably be censored due to
his dismay. Bo is kind, gentle, lethargic and likes cats from a
distance.
